About this event

The Sons and Daughters of the United States Middle Passage (SDUSMP) invite experienced genealogists, historians, researchers, and cultural scholars to lead interactive workshops at our 9th Annual Genealogy and Community Learning Conference, taking place June 6 and 7, 2025.

This year’s theme, “From Bondage to Legacy,” reflects our commitment to remembrance, resilience, and the celebration of ancestral strength. Together, we’ll recognize those working to preserve and uplift our history.

The theme also emphasizes providing hands-on assistance to attendees, empowering them to connect with their enslaved ancestors through practical, immersive sessions. For more information visit: https://sdusmp.org/conference2025/

Tickets are now available! Take advantage of our Early Bird Special for just $35 through Memorial Day.
