About this event

Banned Books: A Growing Threat

Nationwide, thousands of books are banned from the shelves of school and public libraries. This webinar investigates the current and potential impact on readers, publishers, and the African American community. The webinar will explore why storytellers should be concerned and how some communities are responding. National Association of Black Storytellers Educational Committee invites you to join Dr. Carolyn Edwards and share your experiences as we delve into this growing threat.

Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 8pm Eastern.
